佐藤優

作家、元外務省主任分析官。1960年、東京都生まれ。
1985年に同志社大学大学院神学研究科修了後、外務省入省。在英国日本国大使館、在ロシ
ア連邦日本国大使館に勤務した後、本省国際情報局分析第一課において、主任分析官とし
て対ロシア外交の最前線で活躍。2002年、背任と偽計業務妨害容疑で東京地検特捜部に逮
捕され、2005年に執行猶予付き有罪判決を受ける。2009年に最高裁で有罪が確定し、外務
省を失職。
2005年に発表した『国家の罠 外務省のラスプーチンと呼ばれて』で第59回毎日出版文化
賞特別賞受賞。2006年に『自壊する帝国』で第5回新潮ドキュメント賞、第38回大宅壮一
ノンフィクション賞受賞。『獄中記』『交渉術』『外務省に告ぐ』『国家の「罪と罰」』
など著書多数。

    他の方がレビューで語るように、『読書をする上で大切な考え方や読み方を知れる』良書です。

    しかし、本の内容としては

    「著者の読んだ本の引用や説明」70%

    「読書の技法について」30%

    のように感じました。

    「引用や説明について」哲学や何やならの著者の知識量が圧倒的に凄く、語られている9割以上が理解できませんでした。

    「読書の技法」を学びたい私は、理解できるページ以外ほとんど飛ばしました。

    ☜学んだ点

    ⚫︎時間は有限であり希少なモノ。

    その為に、

    目的を明確にし、重点を見つけ、

    速読、超速読術を活用する。

    読書をする上で完璧主義を捨てろ。

    ⚫︎半年後、一年後に自分は何をしているか？

    逆算して、

    どのような知識が必要か？

    どのような事を身につけるべきか？

    私にとって、完璧主義を捨てろ！という項目が、一番学ぶべき所だと感じてます。

    ただそれが私的に難しい…どれもこれも必要で学ぶべき点ばかりであるからです。

    だからこそ、自分の目的を明確化して

    10学ぶことより、自分の為に1行動する

    と読書の大切さを学びました。

    読書の技法はとても参考になります。

    しかし、この本を読む為には『何を学んでどこを取捨選択するか』を意識して読んだ方がとてもためになると思います。

    佐藤優氏の読書法がかなり具体的に書かれている。圧倒的な読書量に驚かされる一方で、私のように趣味で読書をしている程度の人間からすると堅苦しい印象も受ける。本格的に学問を学びたい人には得るものが多いのだろうが、そこまで高いレベルを求めていない私とはかなり温度差があった。ただし部分的に参考になる部分はいくつかあったので星は3つ。

    個人的に尊敬している佐藤優氏の読書法がわかる画期的な1冊。

    基礎知識がないと速読できない。

    基礎知識は熟読でしか身につかない。

    基礎知識は、高校の教科書で身につくなどは新奇性か

    超速読は、5分以上かけない気持ちで時間を測る。

    太字のみを拾って高速でページをめくる。

    読書ノートは、分厚い1冊に集約する。

    積読対策には、超速読がいい。

    佐藤氏は漫画も好きだ。

    既知の部分は飛ばして読み、未知の部分は全体の5〜20%

    専門家は、未知の部分のみ熟読すれば良い。

    速読は、熟読本をあぶり出す、スクーリングするために行う。

    速読や読書法の本にありがちなのが、

    「この本の方法でどんな本もあっという間に読める」という文言。

    そして、そうした本のレビューにありがちなのが、

    「目からうろこ、是非実践したい」という文言。

    つまり、

    その本を読んで、著者の技法やスタンスなりの全体や一部を、

    読者が実際に実践し、体得したというものに出会ったことがないんですよね。

    目を速く動かす系統の速読、

    ページを写真のように読み取る系統の速読、

    その他各種の速読・読書法、

    この手に書籍に関して否定するつもりはありません。

    ですが、

    何の素養や前提知識の無い分野に関する専門書籍を、

    字が大きくてポイントになる箇所が太字のビジネス書と、

    同じように読めるような体裁を取る速読・読書法の本が多いように思います。

    私も専門分野を持っていますが、

    門外漢の人が私の専門分野の本を一般の速読法で読み、一定の理解に至るとは、

    到底思えません。

    本書の著者は、

    本には前提知識や専門知識が必要な本があり、

    そうした知識がない限り速読などできないし、

    前提となる基礎知識は熟読でしか得られないと述べています。

    ゆえに基礎の知識を己の血肉化する熟読の技法、

    そして、

    基礎知識を用いた速読の技法について、

    非常にわかりやすく説明しています。

    著者の旺盛な知識の「吸収力」の全て、いや一部すら体得することは難しいでしょうが、

    そうした「技法」は体得できます。

    私自身、この本を読んで体得しました。

    己の専門分野以外の分野を開拓していく時、

    この基礎知識に関する熟読を実践すると、

    非常に役立ちます。

    まずkindleで買ったことが間違えだった。そう思える本である。

    これから紙媒体のものを読んでいこうと思う。そういった意味でもこの本はkindleで読んで良かったのかもしれない。

    この本を通して、自分の読書法を確立できた。

    メンタリストDaigoがオススメしてたので買いました。

    帯が非常に胡散臭い。

    エリートが書いてる本で彼がどんな本の読み方をしてきたかが書かれています。

    はっきり言って作者の自慢話です。こんな人もいるのか～ぐらいに思っておく感じですかね笑。

    されどなかなか無いタイプの本ではあるので、作者へのリスペクトは忘れずに読まなければこの本から何かを得ることはできないかと思います。
