【蔡志忠】
1948年、台湾に生まれる。テレビ美術等を担当したのち、新聞・雑誌に漫画を描きはじめる。特に『老子』『荘子』『論語』『史記』など、中国古典を漫画化した作品はいずれもベストセラーとなり、世界各国で翻訳されている。1985年に全国10大傑出青年に選ばれたほか、対台湾教育功奨、世界新聞伝播奨などの賞を受賞している。
【野末陳平】
1932年、静岡県に生まれる。早稲田大学東洋哲学科を卒業。著書に『50代からの夫と妻の生き方計画』（講談社）、『四字熟語366日』（講談社＋α文庫）などがある。
【和田武司】
1933年、東京都に生まれる。東京都立大学卒業。拓殖大学外国語学部教授。著訳書に『陶淵明全集』上・下（岩波文庫・共訳）、『楽しむ四字熟語』（岩波書店・共著）、『マンガ　孔子の思想』（講談社＋α文庫）などがある。

    中田敦彦さんのＹｏｕＴｕｂｅで知りました。老荘思想の内容そのものは、おもしろく読めましたが、なにしろ、、文字が小さすぎるのと、マンガも、もうすこし、人物の区別を分かりやすく描いてほしかったです。第１刷は１９９４年で、３０年ほど前ですから、新たに、もうすこし分かりやすいマンガと、文字の大きさで、編集を変えて、出す人があれば、、売れるかも、と思いました。。

    ざっくりですが、なんとなく老荘思想がどんなものか理解できました。
