    I upgraded from the iPhone 8. My first impression is that it’s big and heavy. The display is larger and looks great, but in terms of how it fits in the hand, I actually preferred the size of the iPhone 8 (and I have fairly large hands).

    Since it’s an iPhone, it works smoothly without any major issues. The Home button is gone, and Face ID replaces fingerprint authentication—so now Apple has both my fingerprint and my face.

    One commonly discussed issue online—difficulty focusing on stars when taking night sky photos—is definitely present. Turning off macro mode seems to help a bit, but if you want proper results, it’s better to use a dedicated app with manual focus, such as AstroShader.

    If you’re serious about photography, Android is also a good option.
