    別にギター好きとかじゃないけど。一応ギターは持ってるので最初に買いたいエフェクターって何だろうと考えたところ。私の好きな椎名林檎の曲“丸の内サディスティック”にあるRATでした。今の所問題は無いです。(初めてエフェクター買うから何が良くて何が悪いのか分からない)私は所有してるだけで満足です。が、今度バンドでRAT使って弾いてみます。

    ビンテージ機は高くて手が出なかったのでこの現行品を買ったけど、意外と図太い音がするのには驚いた。しかもBOSS-OS1とか比べ音が籠らずFILTERを掛けても歪んだ音がそのまま抜け通る感じで凄くいい。ビンテージならこれがもっといいのかな？と思うとビンテージも欲しいところではあるけど、現行品の方がエッジが効いているそうなのでこれで満足。

    各ツマミの設定はシビアな感じがしますが、軽めのオーバードライブからファズみたいなサウンドまで楽しめます。

    こいつの前段にローゲインのオーバードライブを置いてブーストしてやると良い

    幸い目立つ外傷はなかったのですが、紙袋はちょっと……なので星1つマイナスで。

    RAT 2本体ですが、超気持ちいい音が出ました。大満足です。

    Ich habe eine Fender Jazzmaster (Vintera) und dazu nun diese Pro Co Rat 2, die schnell kam und für 85€ voll günstig.

    Mit 1/3 Distortion und 1/6 Filter (also fast ganz links) habe ich nun den NOFX Sound täuschend echt!

    Ace sounding dirt pedal, solidly built.

    The box was pretty squished but, the pedal survived the international trip from Tenessee to Melbourne.

    It's different from my other distortions and adds another flavour to my board.

    To my surprise it is a fantastic overdrive for bass.

    The gain knob does clean up a bit, but i've found that you're better off rolling back the volume on the instrument instead. This helps retain clarity and allows a finer tuning than the pedal allows for.

    Unlike a Muff, the Rat sounds great at all gain settings, though you will want to use humbuckers if you live in an electrically nolisy environment.
