    沙都子とは逆に継ぐことに乗り気ではないのに、継がされたお兄ちゃんが家を出たりと、波乱の展開。

    それでも一生懸命頑張る沙都子。栗きんとんを見事に作り上げ、大成功と思ったら──

    小さな事件が、大きな事件が、次々と沙都子を襲います。もう目が離せない！

    店を守るために懸命に和菓子作りに奮闘する沙都子ですが、

    老舗の和菓子店「長月堂」を舞台にしたお仕事小説です。この作品は人と人との「縁」にフォーカスを当てていると、私は思いました。生きていると縁が生まれたり切れたりします。だけど、切れた縁でも存在がゼロになるわけじゃない。老舗の和菓子店が築いてきた縁、主人公が入ったことにより新しく生まれていく繋がり……そして縁は、予測できないトラブルも生みます。人ってなんて自分勝手だと思わされるけれど、それでも他者との関係を大切にしたいと思わせてくれる作品です。読み終わるころには、爽やかで甘い読後感が胸いっぱいに広がりました。なんだか毎日疲れてやる気がでない……そんな方にもおすすめしたい、がつんと熱い和菓子小説です。すごく面白かった！
